The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors - National Association announced six winners of the residential plumbing contest of the SkillsUSA Championships in plumbing June 23 during an awards session of the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in Kansas City, Mo.
Winners in the High School (Secondary) category were: First, James Banach, Oberlin, Ohio; Second, David Gralinski, Northampton, Mass.; Third, Ryan Dockery, Cleveland, Ga.
Winners in the Postsecondary category were: First, Evan Eppolite, Medford, N.J.; Second, Elisio Dawkins, Bradenton, Fla.; Third, Kirk Lang, Beloit, Kan.
Professional plumbers and pipe fitters judged contestants' “roughed-in” projects. All winners received medallions and tools, and/or scholarships.
