Bob Miodonski is group publisher and editor of Plumbing & Mechanical, joining the staff in August 2007. Previously, he was publisher and editorial director of Contractor Magazine since 2002, and chief editor since 1994.

At points in his journalistic career, Miodonski served as Supply House Times’ managing editor and then editorial director. He worked with George Zebrowski, Jim Olsztynski and Scott Franz at the former Horton Publishing Co., where both Supply House Times and Plumbing & Mechanical were started.

Miodonski is a graduate of Vanderbilt University. He also holds a master’s degree in journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, where he served on the graduate school faculty as a part-time instructor.

George Zebrowski, publisher of Plumbing & Mechanical, is a 30+-year veteran of the plumbing-heating industry trade press. Zebrowski held several editorial positions on Contractor Magazine, becoming editor-in-chief in 1983. Soon thereafter he joined Horton Publishing and helped in the launch of Plumbing & Mechanical in 1984.

Initially, Zebrowski wrote a column in PM and sold advertising space in New England. His territory eventually expanded to include the entire East Coast and Gulf states into Texas. The year after BNP Media bought PM in 1991, Zebrowski was named publisher. He handles advertising sales for the Northeast, including Western New York and Western Pennsylvania.

He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts.

Jim Olsztynski is the founding editor and editorial director of Plumbing & Mechanical, as well as the winner of numerous awards for editorial excellence. He has been associated with the plumbing industry since 1977 and is a tireless crusader for the interests of plumbing contractors.

He was one of the industry spokesmen chosen to appear on the History Channel’s “Arteries of Civilization” program on plumbing history, adapted from PM’s 10-year “History of Plumbing” serial features.

Olsztynski is also editor of Supply House Times and consulting editor.

Kelly Faloon, Plumbing & Mechanical’s managing editor, came aboard in December 2001 as a senior editor on staff. She came to PM after a 3½-year stint at sister publication Supply House Times.

She is also editor of Radiant Flooring Guide, an annual publication of the Radiant Panel Association that provides detailed information on floor covering options for homes with radiant floor heating.

Previously, Faloon spent nearly 10 years at CCH Incorporated, a publishing firm specializing in business and tax law, where she wore many hats — proofreader, writer/editor for a daily tax publication, and Internal Revenue Code editor.

A native of Michigan’s northern Lower Peninsula, Faloon is a 1986 journalism graduate of Michigan State University.

Senior Editor Mike Miazga joined the Plumbing & Mechanical staff in February 2010. A 17-year veteran of the publishing industry, Miazga is an accomplished editor, feature writer, news reporter and columnist. His experience includes daily newspapers, sports magazines, public/media relations and related e-media such as Web sites and e-newsletters.

Miazga, also a former high school baseball and golf coach, most recently was the editor of two niche sports magazines from 2003-2009.

Miazga handles new products, news and features for the magazine. He is also senior editor of sister publication PM Engineer.

Suzette Rubio is the online editor for Plumbing & Mechanical. She also works on Supply House Times, PM Engineer, Radiant & Hydronics and Bath & Kitchen Pro, keeping the magazines’ Web sites updated with daily news, Web exclusives and digital editions, as well as monthly issue items. She joined the staff in the summer of 2005 as Supply House Times’ associate editor.

Her experience includes a stint as assistant editor at Mintel International, as well as working on In the Field, a publication of the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago.
