Portuguese plumbing and hardware manufacturer Cifial USA has launched its first annual “Uncharted Waters Design Competition”. It is open to residential and commercial designers, and the winning firm will be awarded $20,000 in Cifial products for use on a future design project.

A Cifial USA panel of judges will review the entries, headed by renowned industrial designer Carlos Aguiar. Aguiar has been the recipient of the Design Plus, Good Design and Red Dot awards for Cifial product design.
