The Army Corp of Engineers recently chose ACE DuraFlo’s patented ePIPE epoxy lining system for its long-term solution to prevent pipe corrosion at its facilities. The project involved the application of ePIPE to the piping systems in six new administration and six new readiness buildings, which encompassed more than 400,000 square feet.

According to ACE DuraFlo, the Army Corp also used ePIPE to combat hard water and early pipe failure at Fort Knox. It decided to protect the new piping system right from the onset; the 12-building project was completed on time over a scheduled six-week period.

ACE DuraFlo was also recently chosen by the U.S. Navy to protect pipes on board the 950-foot USS Dahl. That project was completed in the New Jersey shipyards.
