Bathroom ceramic and fixture manufacturer Duravit launched its first-ever stand-alone showroom in the United States ― Duravit New York. The exceptional space is located in the heart of Manhattan’s architecture and design community on Madison Avenue.

Duravit New York represents an extension of the company’s commitment to provide top-quality product to its valued clientele,” Duravit announced. And since bold design and innovation remain a hallmark of the Duravit brand, the company collaborated with Stuttgart-based architects Schmutz & Partner, who conceptualized the 4,000-square-foot showroom in the form of a “blue space.” It creates “a flowing, floating space with a weightless atmosphere” rather than a “formal idea.”

The new showroom will showcase a representative cross-section of a design world that comprises not only luxury products but “innovative bathroom design, ranging from jeans to dinner jacket,” according to Duravit export manager Albrecht von der Groeben.

In addition to housing a vast range of available products, Duravit New York will dually function as a training center for architects, designers, planners and specifiers. Training sessions will include everything from product seminars to hands-on installations to courses in wellness.
