Noritz America Corp. has partnered with Energy Star where a total of 20 of its water heating models have earned an Energy Star rating from the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Agency.

The statement was made by Yoshi Asano, Noritz America senior marketing manager, who also announced that all of Noritz’s Energy Star products qualify for the $300 Federal Tax Credit for 2009.

In order to achieve the Energy Star rating, all units required a minimum of 82 percent thermal efficiency. According to the company, all of the qualifying Noritz units meet that basic requirement and Noritz’s flagship model, the N-0841MC condensing unit, boasts 94 percent super efficiency.
