Argo Baseboard will move its manufacturing facility in South Windsor, Conn., to Westfield, Mass. The Westfield facility is currently home to a large manufacturer of finned-tube radiation, capable of producing more than 160,000 feet of finned-tube radiation per week.

The transition will provide higher production capacities and streamlined fabrication processes, says the company, while allowing it to continuing to manufacture high-quality products with substantially improved lead times. The transition and relocation will be completed by Aug. 15, 2009.

Additionally, Argo introduces three new models of baseboard: Low Trim II, Panel Trim II, and the “Classic”.  These new models will replace traditional Argo products and become the standard.

According to the company, these new style baseboards are symmetrically styled for a modern, low-profile appearance for fast, low-cost installations, improved fit and finish and peak hydronic heating performance. All boards also use a mechanical bonding process during manufacturing that expands the copper tube to secure the fins ensuring years of trouble-free service.
