Drake To Step Down From RPA Post

Lawrence Drake, executive director for the past 15 years of the Radiant Panel Association, said he will step down as the RPA chief. He made the announcement in his column published in the association’s monthly newsletter.

Drake said a search is on for the new director and included a list of the characteristics needed to fill the position.

“It’s time for new approaches and ideas,” he wrote. “Although there are fundamentals of association management that don’t change, there is plenty of room for innovation."
Drake added that he will remain president of the management company that oversees the organization and will remain involved with the RPA, “but from a position far behind the scenes … ”
