More visitors went to www.fwwebb.com on Dec. 4 than on any single day since its launch several years ago, according to Jeff Pope, president of family-owned PHC distributor F.W. Webb. And it was primarily for a chance to obtain one of 150 Webb Priority Access Passes to the Second Annual Fenway Yard Sale on Dec. 12.

Online registration started at 9 a.m.; within a few hours all 150 authorized spots were taken. After the yard sale registration was closed, visitors were invited to register to win two free tickets for opening day at Fenway Park on April 5, when the Red Sox will host the Yankees.

A random drawing was held one week later, and AH Thermo Heating & Cooling of Exeter, N.H., won the tickets. Mike O’Shea, general manager of F.W. Webb’s Dover, N.H., branch, delivered the news.

According to the Red Sox organization, F.W. Webb contractors purchased more than $10,000 in Red Sox memorabilia and souvenirs at The Fenway Yard Sale, where the selection of items included some of the last remaining seats in Fenway Park from the .406 Club, loge seats, roof seats, game-worn jerseys, Fenway Park bricks, signed memorabilia, baseballs, bats, artwork and other miscellaneous items.

The Fenway Yard Sale is not open to the public. A select group of fans is randomly chosen to attend the sale and pre-registered Webb contractors were given priority access this year on the day before it opened.
