Haws Corp. announced that President Sallie Haws, the great-granddaughter of company founder Luther Haws, has been elevated to chairman of the board of directors. She has served as president for nine years and replaces Michael H. Traynor, who is now chairman emeritus.

Moving up to president is former Executive Vice President Thomas White, a veteran of more than 15 years with Haws. White has held a variety of sales and operations positions within Haws Corp. and has served on a wide variety of industry and community development committees and boards.
