Everett C. Wilcox, Chairman, Leonard Valve Co.

Everett C. Wilcox, chairman of the board of the Leonard Valve Co., passed away last year on Dec. 15. Just three days before his death, Wilcox celebrated his 68th year of employment with the company. He was elected president in 1955 and remained in that position until 1991 when he was appointed chairman of the board of directors. In 1973, Wilcox was elected president of the Plumbing Manufacturers Institute, then known as the Plumbing Brass Institute.

He is survived by four children and nine grandchildren. Donations may be made in his memory to the Everett C. Wilcox Family Health Center, c/o CCAP, 311 Doric Avenue, Cranston, RI 02910.



Sgt. Chad J. Vollmer, Son Of ECF President

Sgt. Chad J. Vollmer, 24, of Grand Rapids, Mich., was killed in action in Iraq on Dec. 23. He was part of the Army National Guard E Company, 1st Battalion, 125th Infantry, and was serving his second tour of duty. He is survived by his parents (father Terry Vollmer is president of Electro Chemical Finishing), his sister and brother-in-law, and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
