I don’t watch much TV. In fact, I haven’t had cable or
satellite TV for well over 10 years and what shows I do watch I did through
old-fashioned rabbit ears. Now that everything’s digital, and I didn’t bother
to get one of those boxes, I don’t even get any TV signal.
But I do own a couple of TVs. One is
primarily for my son to play video games and the other is hooked up to a DVD
player. Call me crazy, but I do intend to buy a big-screen TV this year and
will use it for nothing but watching DVDs.
As a result, I watch so many movies that
even I forget how many plumbing scenes there are to note. For example, I’m
writing this on Wednesday, April 22, which is Earth Day, which reminds me of
the trip I just came back from the night before at Wales Darby, PM’s
Rep of the Year, which we’ll feature in our June issue, during which I watched
a video the Darby brothers got Ed Begley Jr. to do for the grand opening of
their Energy Room, a beautiful training facility and showroom featuring
energy-efficient heating appliance, which reminded me that I had just seen Ed
himself speak on living green a couple of months ago at the MCAA Convention,
which reminded me that Ed had been in last summer’s “Pineapple Express,” a stoner
action flick that had a great plumbing scene. Enjoy.
